Maayuma-Li Wiimpatya (MWC) acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work

I am a proud Barkindji and   Malyangapa woman who grew up across the Riverina on Wiradjuri Country, and I   now reside on Dharawal lands.

I hold an undergraduate degree and   am preparing to recommence my second year of a Master of Research, which   reflects my passion for continuous learning and deepening my expertise. Over   the years, I have developed strong skills in leadership and management,   financial management, compliance, and corporate, strategic, and clinical   governance. Collaboration has always been central to my approach, as I   recognise the importance of working closely with diverse stakeholders to   create meaningful change.

Throughout my career, I have been   fortunate to build strong strategic partnerships, influence policy reform,   and ensure accountability and transparency in everything I do. I am deeply   committed to equity and cultural integrity, making sure that sustainable and   culturally informed solutions remain a top priority in my work       

The work ahead excites me because   it’s rooted in what we value most supporting our communities, advocating for   the rights and voices of Aboriginal people, and driving meaningful reform in   areas that deeply affect our health, well-being, and future.

Together, we are ready to empower   our people, uplift our communities, and ensure that the future we’re shaping   through MLW is one where Aboriginal voice are heard, respected, and lead the   way in creating long-lasting solutions.
